AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A SMALL-SCALE AMENDMENT TO ITS COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FUTURE LAND-USE MAP IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANDATES SET FORTH IN CHAPTER 163, FLORIDA STATUTES, PURSUANT TO APPLICATION NO. CPSS-20-11-000014 IN ORDER TO CHANGE THE LAND-USE DESIGNATION ON 2.08 ACRES IN SIZE, MORE OR LESS, FROM GOLF (G) TO COMMERCIAL (C); PROVIDING A NOTATION ON THE FUTURE LAND-USE MAP PERTAINING TO THE PERMITTED LAND-USE DENSITY AND INTENSITY RELATED TO THE SUBJECT PROPERTY; THE SUBJECT PROPERTY BEING LOCATED WITHIN PGA NATIONAL, IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT TO THE PGA RESORT CORE AT THE SOUTHERN TERMINATING END OF AVENUE OF THE CHAMPIONS, APPROXIMATELY 0.50 MILES SOUTH OF PGA BOULEVARD; PROVIDING FOR COMPLIANCE WITH ALL REQUIREMENTS OF CHAPTER 163, FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR TRANSMITTAL TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY (DEO); PROVIDING THAT THE FUTURE LANDUSE MAP OF THE CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS BE AMENDED ACCORDINGLY; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, AND AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
VIII.b. *ORDINANCE 14, 2021 – (2ND READING & ADOPTION) REZONING TO CHANGE THE ZONING DESIGNATION OF APPROXIMATELY 2.08 ACRES WITHIN PGA NATIONAL FROM PLANNED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (PCD). AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLORIDA, REZONING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY, SUCH PROPERTY BEING COMPRISED OF 2.08 ACRES IN SIZE, MORE OR LESS, AND LOCATED WITHIN PGA NATIONAL, IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT TO THE PGA RESORT CORE AT THE SOUTHERN TERMINATING END OF AVENUE OF THE CHAMPIONS, APPROXIMATELY 0.50 MILES SOUTH OF PGA BOULEVARD; PROVIDING THAT THESE PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY THAT ARE MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN SHALL BE REZONED FROM PLANNED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (PCD) OVERLAY WITH UNDERLYING “GOLF USES” TO PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) OVERLAY WITH UNDERLYING “HOTEL, RECREATIONAL AND INCIDENTAL FACILITIES RELATED THERETO”; PROVIDING THAT THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS BE AMENDED ACCORDINGLY; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, AND AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
