VIII.e. *RESOLUTION 49, 2023 – SITE PLAN FOR PARCEL A (POD 18). A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLORIDA, APPROVING A SITE PLAN FOR A 104-LOT SINGLE-FAMILY HOME RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION ON APPROXIMATELY 50.53 ACRES KNOWN AS POD 18 WITHIN THE RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (PARCEL A) OF THE AVENIR PLANNED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (PCD), THE SUBJECT SITE BEING GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF PANTHER NATIONAL BOULEVARD, APPROXIMATELY 0.35 MILES NORTH OF NORTHLAKE BOULEVARD, AND THE AVENIR PCD BEING GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF NORTHLAKE BOULEVARD, EAST OF GRAPEVIEW BOULEVARD, WEST OF BAY HILL DRIVE, AND SOUTH OF BEELINE HIGHWAY, AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN; PROVIDING CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
VIII.a. RESOLUTION 40, 2023 – ADOPTING A TAX LEVY AND MILLAGE RATE. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A TAX LEVY AND MILLAGE RATE FOR THE CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2023, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2024; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO FORWARD A CERTIFIED COPY OF THIS RESOLUTION TO THE PALM BEACH COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER AND TAX COLLECTOR WITHIN THREE (3) DAYS AFTER ITS ADOPTION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
VIII.b. ORDINANCE 11, 2023 – (2ND READING AND ADOPTION) ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023/2024. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2023, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2024; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
VIII.c. ORDINANCE 16, 2023 – (1ST READING) CITY-INITIATED EVALUATION AND APPRAISAL REVIEW COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENTS. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLORIDA, AMENDING ITS COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO ADOPT EVALUATION AND APPRAISAL REVIEW (EAR)-BASED AMENDMENTS PURSUANT TO SECTION 163.3191, FLORIDA STATUTES, WHICH PROVIDES FOR A COMPREHENSIVE UPDATE TO ALL ELEMENTS; AFFECTING THE PAGINATION IN EACH AMENDED ELEMENT; PROVIDING THAT THE TEXT, AS AMENDED OR REVISED, SHALL SUBSTITUTE FOR AND REPLACE IN FULL THE EXISTING TEXT IN ALL AMENDED ELEMENTS; PROVIDING FOR AN UPDATE TO ALL MAPS IN THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP SERIES; PROVIDING FOR TRANSMITTAL TO THE STATE LAND PLANNING AGENCY; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, AND AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
VIII.d. ORDINANCE 17, 2023 – (2ND READING AND ADOPTION) FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 38 - FIRE PREVENTION AND PROTECTION BY REPEALING AND READOPTING SECTION 38-89. - SPRINKLERS., AS REVISED, IN ORDER TO REQUIRE AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEMS IN CERTAIN RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES; FURTHER AMENDING CHAPTER 38 BY ADOPTING NEW SECTION 38-92. TO BE ENTITLED “REPORTING REQUIREMENTS” TO ESTABLISH CERTAIN REPORTING REQUIREMENTS FOR VARIOUS FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENT; PROVIDING THE REMAINDER OF CHAPTER 38. SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AS PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, AND AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
